Mental health project grant for practice nurses and allied healthcare professionals

Each year, the Charlie Waller Trust awards the Beaulieu Beaufort Foundation Ted Fort grant of £3,000 for a project in primary care relating to patients with mental ill health.

The purpose of this grant is to support a nurse or allied healthcare professional working in primary care to undertake a project related to improving the recognition of patients with mental health problems and helping them to access appropriate treatment.

Who should apply?

The grant is open to registered nurses and registered allied healthcare professionals working in primary care in the UK. They should have an interest and enthusiasm for mental health, however, applicants do not need to consider themselves highly experienced in the field or have had any previous mental health training.

The grant – of £3,000 for a one-year project – is open to registered nurses and registered allied healthcare professionals working in primary care in the UK.
