Supporting children's emotional wellbeing
Hosted by Gemma Howard
This session led by mental health trainer, Gemma Howard, is full of practical strategies to support children experiencing overwhelm, and it recognises the emotional demands on the adults who care for and work with them.
Gemma explores how relationships, connection and emotional understanding help children feel supported, heard and ready to thrive. She introduces the part played by stress, early experiences and emotional regulation in children’s wellbeing and behaviour.
Designed with primary-aged children in mind, the webinar wis valuable for parents, carers and people working in schools and other organisations. Gemma also talks about our fully funded ‘Whole Organisation Approach’ where experienced trainers work alongside organisations to provide tailored support and embed key principles into everyday practice.
