Dr John Coleman is a psychologist with a long-standing interest in adolescence. In this two-part interview with mental health trainer Andy Caress, he explores the development of the teenage brain, and how this has implications for our understanding of teenage behaviour. These interviews were recorded during the Covid-19 pandemic and they explore its affects (lockdown in particular) on young people and families. In the second interview, they look more specifically at mental health in young people and the apparent increase in mental health disorders.
