Mental health trainer Andy Caress explores the concept of self-worth and what we mean by contingent self-worth, which is about the sources from which we draw our sense of self-worth, for example competition and/or academic achievement. It’s particularly relevant to those working with adolescents and Andy looks at how we can encourage them to know how to build resilience and a growth mindset.
