Natalie joined Norwich Medical School in 2020 as a lecturer on the Educational Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) programme. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and holds degrees in Politics & Development Studies, Nursing and Midwifery, and Public Health as well as an MSc in Psychology. In addition to these, Natalie also has a certificate in Person-Centred Counselling. As a subject matter expert, Natalie delivers teaching on public mental health, health promotion, whole school approaches, reflective practice, diversity, psychoeducation and therapeutic groups, as well as guest lecturing for the Educational Psychology Doctorate programme at UEA.
Previously, she has consulted on Norfolk County Council guidance, the recent CAMHS transformation in Norfolk, as well as contributing to a Counselling Young People module at the Norwich Centre. Natalie is the European representative for the Early Careers Network (ISECN) at the International Union for Health Promotion and Education (IUHPE) and a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health (ACAMH).
