Staff supporting students

This course is for staff members who support students, regardless of their role. It covers key principles, student mental health, and key skills followed by an end of course assessment. You'll learn to understand the principles of supporting students, identify available resources for students experiencing mental health issues, and much more.

Managers supporting staff

Aimed towards line managers supporting their staff, this course includes modules on key principles, staff mental health, key skills, and a final assessment. You'll gain insight into the principles of supporting staff, available resources for staff facing mental health challenges, and strategies for initiating and managing wellbeing conversations.

Wellbeing strategies

This course focuses on looking after your own wellbeing and contains two modules on factors influencing wellbeing and creating a wellbeing action plan. You'll understand factors impacting your own wellbeing, the importance of prioritising your wellbeing at work, and various wellbeing strategies you can use.

Managing risk and crises

This course is aimed at anyone working in a university/college. You'll learn to identify signs of a mental health crisis, understand self-harm behaviors, and the signs that indicate that someone may be experiencing psychosis. You will learn the importance of asking about suicide and how to respond appropriately.
