A practical toolkit to help universities create a strategy to improve the mental health of staff and students.

This digital pack will help you to create a trustworthy mental health strategy based on sound clinical evidence. It will enable you to look at a whole-university approach to wellbeing, encouraging all staff and students to get involved.

The toolkit was written in partnership with experienced Charlie Waller Trainers and students, and peer reviewed by members of the Association of Managers of Student Services in Higher Education (AMOSSHE), the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), the Student Mental Health Research Network (SMaRteN), Universities UK and UCAS.

It provides practical, proven and accessible guidance to help you CREATE an effective evidence-based university mental health strategy and associated policies through:

Coproduction,

Risk assessment,

Evaluation,

Accessibility,

Togetherness, and

Embeddedness.

This download is a ZIP file containing two PDFs: the toolkit and the template to enable you to customise your mental health policy.
