Join our Senior Mental Health Leads Training

We're excited to be preparing our remote CPD offer of training for Depart of Education-approved Senior Mental Health Leads in conjunction with the Charlie Waller Institute, our sister organisation dedicated to delivering training and supporting mental health practitioners to deliver the best care they can. 

The course will be delivered in 2022 (start date to be confirmed) and will be comprised of eight CPD days, focusing on children's mental health and wellbeing based on Public Health England's guidance.

The training will be delivered through a combination of small group and one-to-one sessions. Participants will come away with the confidence to implement a whole-school approach specifically tailored to the needs of their school, to create sustainable and long-term results. You will also have the opportunity to become part of a network of professionals and gain continued access to future events facilitated by the University of Reading. 

There will be 40 hours of CPD training as well as live top-up sessions.
