TCS London Marathon
Join #TeamCharlieWaller and take part in the iconic London Marathon on Sunday 25 April 2027
Join over 40,000 runners on the 26.2 mile route that includes some of the most famous landmarks in the city including Buckingham Palace, The Cutty Sark, Tower Bridge and Canary Wharf.
Looking after our mental health has never been more important and you can help us make sure young people know how to take care of their mental health by taking on this challenge.
We currently have 9 places for 2027 and would love for you to be part of #TeamCharlieWaller. Please read the application process before applying for a Charlie Waller place.
Last month it was stated the London Marathon Events is exlporing the possibility of the 2027 TCS London Marathon taking place across two days. We do not know any further information at this stage.
Application process
The London Marathon is a very popular event and we are thrilled to have 9 places available to offer to our supporters.
Please use the link below to apply for a place. Applications for our places are always oversubscribed, so please take the time to explain your motivations for wanting to run for the Charlie Waller Trust. The deadline to apply is Friday 31 July 2026 23:59.
We will be reviewing all applications and will inform you if you have been successful by the end of August.

Cost and fundraising
A Charlie Waller place costs £50 and we kindly ask our runners to raise a minimum of £2,500 in sponsorship.
What happens if I do not raise the minimum fundraising target?
- We have a dedicated fundraising team who will be there to support you on fundraising ideas and tips to help you reach your target
- We set a minimum fundraising target to ensure we are able to cover the cost of the place
- Please make sure you feel confident you'll be able to hit target before you apply

What to expect from us?
We want to make sure that we provide you with all the support and encouragement needed to make this event an experience to remember. We want you to truly feel like you are a part of #TeamCharlieWaller.
As a runner with #TeamCharlieWaller we’ll give you:
• Support from our lovely office team and a dedicated contact
• Branded technical top (T-shirt or vest)
• Tips for achieving your fundraising target
We will use email to contact you and only ever call you if we need to discuss your application.

We need your family and friends!
If your family and friends are planning on coming along to spectate, we would love for them to join our cheer squad! We’ll provide them with a t-shirt, flags, and noisemakers so it will be even easier for you to spot them along the route, for a much-needed boost of encouragement!
Our cheer team play a vital role in giving our runners the best experience possible. They help create a fantastic atmosphere and will feel rewarded knowing you’ve helped make a difference.
If any of your family or friends are interested in joining us on the day, please drop us an email to let us know they will be coming, and then bring them with you to the marquee before the race!
