We are encouraging you to make the most of each day in February, so why not spread your challenge across all 28 days?
As there are 28 days in February, we are asking you to base your chosen distance on the number 28 ie. you could swim 2.8 miles; walk 28 miles or cycle 280km. You might want to get creative with this and skip, jump or row your chosen distance!?
Cost and registration
We are asking each person taking part to pay or raise a minimum of £28. During the registration process you will have the option to pay a £28 donation or to pledge to fundraise a minimum of £28. (Of course, if you would like to donate or raise more, you are very welcome to do so).

What to expect from your challenge?
Our very own events and fundraising officer, Debs Burles, took on Fit4Feb in 2021. Here is what she and her team had to say about taking part:
Debs – “I organised two groups, one for a walking/running challenge and another for cycling. We all found it a great motivator, especially during the rainy lockdown that we experienced. I created two WhatsApp groups so that we could connect and encourage each other along the way, especially during the cold or rainy spells and I gave regular updates on our mileage totals. The walking/running group even increased our target total to 50 miles! A great challenge, we’ll certainly look forward to it again next year.”
Comments from Debs' groups-
“I’m super grateful Debs - without your challenge I don’t think I would have done any of these rides this month, especially with the weather being so bad, and I feel much better for it”
“This has honestly been so good to get me motivated to get out! Just got to keep it going past Feb now….”
“Thank you Debs - it’s been brilliant and such a good distraction from the crazy work/home school juggle!”
Many other amazing supporters also took part in Fit4Feb last year, here is what they had to say:
"This challenge has given me the motivation to get outside and active. But has also provided comradery and inspiration from others doing the event too. A fantastic challenge by a brilliant charity!" Vicki
"I've been wanting to get running for a while but never got off the start line. Fit4Feb has been the perfect push I needed. I've loved the nudge to get going, as well as getting fresh air every day!" Nikki
"The challenge has helped me to get outside at least once a day despite the freezing weather, which I have found has left me feeling a lot better in myself and has lent more structure to my days. Without this challenge, I would easily have gone full days working at my desk with few breaks. It’s also been lovely to share the challenge with friends and to see how they are benefitting from this too." Elizabeth
"A mile a day isn't as bad as we thought it was going to be, especially with a great view." Hassle Road Network
Please note that your #Fit4Feb challenge must follow the current Government guidelines. Please ensure throughout your challenge that you take care and keep safe.
