Best Dressed Christmas Tree

Key Information

Book now

For the last two years, Bradfield College has been the stunning venue for one of our Carol Services. It has been a huge success and very popular with the local Berkshire crowd.

Another local tradition created by the Shepherd family of Marlow, has been a magical display of lights and music. For the past three years, Charlie Waller was honoured to be their chosen charity.

The funds that both the Bradfield Carol Service and the Shepherd Family Light and Music Show have raised a huge amount of money which has helped us support young people to look after their mental health.

Due to the pandemic sadly neither of these events will be happening, however, we’re delighted that we will be launching a fun online competition for all the family instead – the Best Dressed Christmas Tree Competition!

We’re looking for creative, quirky, classic or colourful trees that bring a smile to people’s faces. Let your imagination run wild and get all your household involved!

Sign up on this page and pay your entry fee of £20.

A photo of the finished tree should then be sent by email before 6pm on Sunday 20th December to debs.burles@charliewaller.org with ‘Xmas Tree Competition’ in the subject box, with a name, email address and telephone number of the entrant.

By entering the competition you agree to the terms of the Best Dressed Christmas Tree Competition 2020 set out below and you agree to photos of your decorated trees being used on Charlie Waller Trust social media pages. Names and contact details will not be included apart from the names of the 3 winners.

Our judges Peter Hansell, Rachel Waller and Jancis Shepherd will choose three winners.
