Nick Garrett

Nick Garrett is Chief Executive of Wellspring Therapy and Training, a mental health charity in Yorkshire. Prior to this he had a career in consultancy specialising in health inequalities and place-based healthcare. Nick’s career has taken in a variety of roles in local authorities and financial services. He co-founded a social prescribing community benefit society which specialised in asset-based approaches to health and wellbeing. Since 2016 he has advised Leeds University’s Social Science Institute on funding academic-led projects delivering impact from research and more recently has worked with the National Institute of Health Research in Bradford on patient safety.
